Have you set any New Year's Resolutions for 2010 or still thinking about it? Maybe you decided not to since you never achieve them anyway. Here is a suggestion I have found very helpful.

If your goal is to lose weight instead of saying, "I am going to lose 25 pounds this year". Write out what you are going to do to accomplish that goal.

For instance:

• I will have a green smoothie 5 days a week.
• I will exercise for 10 minutes a day six days a week.
• I will spend 10 minutes visualizing and feeling the feelings I will have when I am 25 pounds thinner.

In other words focus on taking the action you need to do to actually achieve your goal.
